It's Finally Spring....and Baseball!

Finally the weather was nice for a great day of baseball. I love watching the boys play. Chase got some hits and made a great play in Center field....he said he "robbed a homerun". Blake finished his first season of high school baseball. He did an awesome job pitching and is a great first baseman. Cooper can't wait to start coach pitch this year. He is a good sport running around to his brothers games all the time.

Happy 6th Birthday Cooper!

We love how Cooper gets so excited and relishes every holiday, celebration, or birthday. He is the one who wants the decorations out and up. He had his birthday planned since the day after his birthday last year. Cooper was the "hero" for the day and I went to his class to celebrate with him. We read his favorite book (There was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly) and talked all about our little man. His teacher said she likes Cooper because he is always where he is supposed to be and when. He just figures it out and does his work instead of always nagging teacher......this is real people, Im not kidding! We always joke about the Coopster but I guess he takes care of business at school.

What I love about Cooper is how much he makes us laugh and see the real, important things in life. He has the craziest things to say. His mind in brutaly honest, open and confident. He is always thinking outside of the box. I miss being around him everytime Im not. Cooper just makes things better. Happy Birthday Son!

What we do for fun

The idea is to pick up the bag without using hands (knees/hands/bottom can't touch ground)

You rip off the part that you grabbed making it smaller each time

Some of us can't make our bodies do that

So, it's hilarious!

Chase is 10!

Happy Birthday Chase! He sure is growing up to be the cutest, sweetest and funniest little dude. He goes with the flow and has a easygoing personality about him. He is always the one giving me hugs and kisses. I hope that never changes. He takes things with stride and doesn't put up a stink....the exception is with his brothers, anything goes. Chase takes good care of Coop before and after school and is his best buddy. He cares about the well being of all of us. I love him to pieces.

Curt and I took him on a date to his favorite place....Wingers!

The only thing he wanted was spicy wings and mudslide pie....shocker

Christmas

The Boys in their PJ's on Christmas Eve...keeping traditions alive baby!

After going through two game systems within two years (PS2, PS3) They got their Xbox. I can't believe we play into this madness! I was actually thinking we function just fine without one. I do have to admit though, some pretty fun times come out of it.

Of course, an available Reggie Bush jersey could not be found. Apparently Saints are a popular team. But Chase always gets his favorite jersey....this year, a Utah Utes.

Cooper got his batcave! I just love how simple it is at this age...and the enjoyment is easy to come by. He gets the most excited and gives the most appreciation. I think he came up to me, gave me a hug and said "I love you mom" like 20 times that day. Totally worth it!

Sledding is Fun!

New Years Eve day we had fresh snow and went sledding. It was a beautiful day and the best part....we didn't have to pack everything up or go too far. We have the perfect hills right by our house! Kristen, Bailey, Brad, Eric and the Roberts clan came too. Between Bailey and the Roberts boys...we were thrilled there were no serious injuries. And believe me, they tried. It was a great time.

Brackett White Elephant

This year we got all the adults together....younger kids separate! It's amazing how much we can enjoy each other without the little ones. Plus, I don't think they could handle a game of spoons. Some of us didn't really come out unharmed. Note to self...if ever in a battle with Kristen, let her have it, save yourself, it's not worth it. Her and Kyle had a good one, there were teeth marks, bruised fingers and broken skin. Good times, good times. We had good food, presents and laughs. Always a for sure with my brothers and sisters.

It's getting there

Eric and Blake Love, LOVE pictures
