The Quirings are Back!

Our good friends, the Quirings, moved back....and we are so excited. The twins are the same age as Coop and they couldn't be more made for eachother. Ian and Chase are similar with their easy going nature and are great big bro's. Tatum....well, she's mine. Sweetest thing ever. And, we love spending time with Jason and Nicole.

Look what she made! It was her first time sewing and we didn't have to "undo" a thing:) She was so proud and I was in heaven doing girly things with the Taters.

The boys did a great job creating creating the football field. The Viking is impressive...however, between the 3 of them, you'd think they could spell Minnesota. 

A fun Summer day with our friends!

Washington

We have such a great time visiting friends and family in Washington. The boys absolutely love it. Especially Cooper. He talks about wanting to live there all the time. He misses the orchards, space, and riding 4-wheelers. He also misses the cousins, aunts/uncles, grandma and grandpa. We all do...but not as much as the boy. Being able to see my friends is special to me too. We have been hanging out at Summer's moms house since 6th grade. During the Summer, we'd hang there every Wednesday, chatting by the pool, with ice tea, hotdogs, and western family peanut butter cookies. The kids swim for hours! We also got to see Timi, Tori, Kevin and the kids...and eat from my fave,El Porton. Cooper never fails to have an incident. This time, it was a swing to the face. Good times.

Beautiful 10 hr drive....

with 3 teenagers! The good news is, Im in this car. Coop and Chase are probably fighting in the other. Poor Jenny, Terry, and Court:)

Cousin Kirsten just LOVES Coop. What a lucky boy, she'll do anything for him.

I'm happy for the moments we get to spend with old friends from our hometown....

Seattle

Boy, do we miss Seattle. Fun trip with our good friends, the Hinz's. We went to our fave places...Pikes Place, Ivars, Space Needle, downtown and waterfront.....good times.

I'm happy for the moments we spend seeing and experiencing new places together, as well as enjoying our fave spots...

We Heart Sushi!

Sushi Night has become a regular at our house:) So much so, I've made it a proper noun...or title... if you will. We have enjoyed so many good times with family and friends through Sushi Night! The boys look forward to it and ask for it all the time! I love having a house full of peeps....kids, teenagers, adults...all kinds! Good memories. Plus, you CAN'T eat as much as we do at a restaurant and be able to afford it. If we were to go to a restaurant, it would be hundreds! I always mean to take pictures, but I never have time..too much going on! So, I stole these from Scott and J.

Day 8...........someone you do the craziest things with
That would be my BFF, Liz. The first day I met her she tackled me. She would hide in my shower and wait til we got home to scare us. We had a fort in her moms closet....UNDER THE GROUND! We would roll up next to men in BMW's downtown Seattle and ask for Grey Poupon. Hmmm, what else? We once wanted to go somewhere and her mom said, "not until you pick up the house," so we threw everything we could into the broken dishwasher. Skinny dipping, toilet papering, cheating in Science, rummaging through the school dumpster to get teacher edition textbooks, Night at the Roxbury bumping Grooms and their Dads (no matter how drunk or old they were), calling Ryan out of class and skipping school, so many crazy things....but all worth it. Not all of it was "fun" crazy... She was with me when I realized I was pregnant with Blake and when all my babies were born. She picked me up when I rolled my car. She has taken me/stayed with me at the ER when I had migranes (during the most awkward times/places). She made many trips with me to Utah (including taking me to see my mom when she was sick), and has been crazy in love with me and my family....so much that I feel confident she would help me move a dead body, no questions asked:) We truly have been through some crazy times together and I love her for every one of them.
